Deployed by the manufacturing partner that builds the BotOnly STC series, at a lithium-battery plant in China. The vehicles are the same class as the STC-PS stackers we supply. Figures reported by the manufacturing partner. Product category: Autonomous stackers
At a glance
A battery plant needed pallets up to two tonnes moved between process areas and storage, tracked by location, with tasks coming from its own system. A 45-vehicle stacker fleet now runs the floor on 3D laser SLAM, with location management in the WMS.
About the plant
A lithium-battery cell and module plant in China. Pallets of materials and work-in-process move between process rooms and buffer storage through controlled doorways.
The challenge
- Loads reach 2,000 kg and have to be placed to ±10 mm in racking.
- Forty-plus vehicles share aisles and doorways, so traffic management decides whether the fleet works at all.
- The customer's own production system had to create the tasks; the fleet could not run on a separate schedule.
The solution
Steer-drive stacker AMRs with 3D laser SLAM are rated to 2,000 kg. The customer's upper-level system issues transport tasks to the fleet manager, while a WMS location module tracks every pallet position.
Projected floor warnings and safety fields mark the vehicle's path at doorways and crossings. Phase one delivered 45 vehicles.

The result
Pallet movement runs 24 hours on the production takt without forklift drivers. The partner reports plant logistics headcount down 30%.
- One 45-vehicle fleet coordinates shared aisles and controlled doorways.
- Two-tonne pallets are placed to ±10 mm.
- Every pallet location is updated in the WMS as the move happens.
