This Cookie Policy explains how Xneuro Inc. ("Xneuro," "we," "us," or "our"), operator of the BOTONLY brand, uses cookies and browser storage on botonly.com (the "Site"). Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text file that a website may place on your device. Browser local storage is a separate technology that allows a site to remember settings, selections, or consent choices in your browser. Local storage is not a cookie, although both can be managed through your browser or by clearing the Site’s stored data.
Server logs and information submitted through forms are not cookies. Those activities are described in our Privacy Policy.
2. What the Site uses
2.1 Necessary browser storage
The Site uses the following first-party browser local storage to provide settings and requested functions. These items do not run advertising or analytics.
| Storage key | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
botonly-theme | botonly.com | Remembers the light or dark display theme selected in the browser. | Until changed, removed by the Site, or cleared by the user. |
botonly-cart-v1 | botonly.com | Remembers products added to the RFQ cart so that the selection remains available across pages and browser refreshes. | Until the selection is removed, the Site clears it, or the user clears Site data. |
botonly-cookie-consent-v1 | botonly.com | Remembers whether the visitor allowed or rejected Analytics, the consent-policy version, and the time the choice was saved. | 180 days, until the visitor changes the choice, until the Site changes the consent-policy version, or until the user clears Site data—whichever occurs first. |
2.2 Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4
With your permission, the Site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure whether a request-for-quote form was submitted successfully. Analytics remains off unless you choose Accept analytics or enable Analytics in Cookie Preferences.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | When set | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics / botonly.com | Stores a pseudonymous browser or client identifier used to distinguish visits and compile Site-usage statistics. | Only after Analytics consent. | Up to 2 years. Browser limits may shorten this period; the production-site scan on September 6, 2026 showed about 400 days. |
_ga_6ZCBNZJW1V | Google Analytics / botonly.com | Maintains GA4 session, campaign, and engagement state for the Site’s measurement property. | Only after Analytics consent. | Up to 2 years. Browser limits may shorten this period; the production-site scan on September 6, 2026 showed about 400 days. |
When Analytics is enabled, GA4 may receive information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser information, referring source, campaign parameters, and a successful RFQ conversion event. We configure the RFQ event so that names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, message text, uploaded-file names, and RFQ identifiers are not sent to GA4.
The Site does not currently use Microsoft Clarity, HubSpot tracking, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, chat tracking, or video tracking. If those tools are introduced later, this Policy and the consent interface must be reviewed and updated before they are enabled.
3. Your choices
On your first visit, the Site presents three choices:
- Reject non-essential — keeps GA4 off; the Site and RFQ form remain usable.
- Manage preferences — opens a panel showing Necessary storage as always active and Analytics as an optional switch that is off by default.
- Accept analytics — enables GA4 from that point forward.
You can review or change your choice at any time through the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every public Site page. If you withdraw Analytics consent, the Site stops future GA4 collection and removes the first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies that it can access. Withdrawal does not automatically delete information already collected; privacy requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.
Changing a choice applies to the browser and device on which it is saved. Clearing Site data removes the saved choice, so the Site will ask again. You can also remove cookies or local storage through your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Clearing necessary storage may reset the display theme and remove products saved in the RFQ cart.
4. Consent implementation
The Site uses Google Consent Mode with Analytics denied by default. The GA4 tag and analytics requests are blocked until Analytics permission is granted. Advertising-related consent signals remain denied because the Site does not use advertising tools. Closing the banner or preferences panel does not count as consent.
5. Future changes
If we introduce another optional analytics, functional, advertising, or targeting tool, we will update this Policy and the consent controls before that tool is used. The updated Policy will identify the relevant cookies or storage technologies, providers, purposes, and durations.
