Deployed by the manufacturing partner that builds the BotOnly AGV-TT series, at a power-tools plant in China. The vehicles are the same class as the AGV-TT tow tractors we supply. Figures reported by the manufacturing partner. Product category: AGV
At a glance
Finished-goods pallets had to leave the packing lines in volume, on the production system's schedule. Tow AMRs now pull trains of up to ten pallets, with each run triggered by the MES.
About the plant
A power-tools manufacturing and packing plant in China. Packed goods are palletized at the line end and moved to a finished-goods area.
The challenge
- Line-end pallets built up faster than forklift drivers could clear them.
- Each move was small, so a single-pallet vehicle would have needed many trips.
- The move had to start when the MES said the pallet was done, not when a driver noticed.
The solution
Differential-drive tow AMRs with laser SLAM navigation, rated to 1,500 kg, pulling trains of up to ten pallet dollies. The MES issues the transport task when a pallet is released. Deployed in phases: one vehicle, then three.

The result
Line-end clearance now runs around the clock on the production takt. The partner reports plant logistics headcount down 20%.
