Deployed by the manufacturing partner that builds the BotOnly AMR-LR series, at a home-appliance plant in China. The vehicles are the same class as the AMR-LR lifting-and-rotating models we supply. Figures reported by the manufacturing partner. Product category: AMR
At a glance
Material racks had to move through a single narrow one-way lane, with every location visible on a plant display. Lifting AMRs with reflector-assisted positioning now run the lane in sequence, and a floor-storage map keeps every rack accounted for.
About the plant
A home-appliance assembly plant in China. Components arrive in wheeled racks that are staged on floor positions before reaching the lines.
The challenge
- Operators scanned and moved racks by hand; locations were tracked on paper.
- The only route was a narrow one-way lane, so several vehicles had to run it without blocking each other.
- Management wanted rack positions and vehicle status visible on a wall display, not just in the system.
The solution
Lifting-and-rotating AMRs with laser SLAM and reflector-assisted secondary positioning. Tasks are triggered from handheld PDAs; the dispatch layer identifies the rack, assigns a floor location and sequences vehicles through the lane. A floor-location map and vehicle status are shown on the plant display.

The result
Rack moves no longer wait for an operator. The partner reports daily throughput up 40% after the five-vehicle first phase.

Share the payload, route and docking points. BotOnly will map the work to a short list of systems for the same class of plant job.
